The ELRC is deeply saddened by the news of the sudden passing of an exemplary leader, Mr Fikile Nthathu, SADTU Northern Cape Provincial Secretary.
It is unfathomable that a great life could end so swiftly, but our splendid celebration and recognition is of a great legacy, of a full life dedicated to a noble cause.
Mr Nthathu contributed to the successes in the ELRC, as Negotiator, fervently representing members in the Council.
It is not our own professed glory that reigns at the end of our lives, but the trail of our work that speaks of our impact and will remain as a testimony of our existence for generations to come.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Nthathu family during this difficult time.
